About Me
Ever since I was a little girl, all I ever wanted to be was a dressmaker.
From making clothes for my toys, to constantly drawing my dream dresses, this was always my ambition.

I graduated from Southampton Solent University with a Ba(Hons) in fashion and production and then continued my studies in Corsetry at Bournemouth University. Corset design and manufacturer is an extremely precise craft, involving hours of design and technical tailoring. But the rewards far outweighed the work.

From graduating I went on to work as an in-house wedding dress designer, seamstress and costume designer on various film and theatre productions and with Dreamworks and Merlin Entertainment in their costume departments. This gave me the wonderful experience of not only coming up with dress designs and drawings from a world of fantasy but to see them bought to life. From reading about a character in a script, to seeing every nuance bought to life by the cut of the cloth and the style of stich, this gave me a wealth of experience of working with fabrics, styling and design.

At Serenity, my biggest passion is being able to create bespoke designs for clients creating their perfect garment. I specialize in Women’s Bespoke Fashion and Costume Design. Easy design, totally individual made to emphasise their personality, style and desired shape. From a show-stopping evening gown to ornate Burlesque corsetry; elaborate festival costumes or a striking new coat – my passion for high quality bespoke dress design can be found in every piece.
Likewise, I get so much satisfaction by taking ready to wear clothing, and with simply a few alternations make it the perfect fit for a client. This can either transform the style and use of the clothing, or emphasis their body shape providing more comfort and confidence for the wearer.
